“This Leatherman has all the practical tools you really need and importantly (for me) doesnt lock its blade when its unfolded. As the cutting edge of the blade is less than 3 inches this means that the multitool falls within the " folding pocket knife" exception to s139 of the Criminal Justice Act 1988 which would otherwise make it illegal to carry in a public place as a bladed/pointed instrument. Not helpful if you want to take it with you camping/fishing/motorcycling etc. One negative point which I feel bound to make us that this Leatherman does not seem as well constructed as previous instruments Ive owned being formed of slightly thinner metal however I giess this makes it less weighty. Pity it no longer comes with a leather pouch unless you pay extra although the webbing pouch it does come with as standard is adequate and serves its purpose”
