“At first I was very happy with my purchase. Getting it to fit was a simple task just take off a link or two with a screwdriver, then I wore it for work. As a builder my job is quite physical. I found that my tread would pop open a any given moment, using a hammer, jumping from a wall, anything that involved jolting your wrist. Its now all wrapped and ready to return.”

“I purchased 2 Treads a few months ago. After wearing over 2 weekends the small little sxribble pin fell off from its holder as I was removing the Tread from my wrist. I did not encounter any drops nor hard knocks during the days of wear (just 4days). Could not fix the scribble pin back since. I wrote to Leatherman but received no reply. Hope to get it fixed soon. Tks Jason”

“Order the tread in May on a pre order, took a while to get it. Got it at the start of September and have worn it every day, for the last three weeks, so far I have used it to change a bulb on my car, to tighten screws on a few bits and bobs, including a Sinclair c5, worn it whilst in a forest, worn in the car, worn walking about, and around the house, even when swimming. It's looks fantastic and is very easy to adjust to your size, just a case of undoing a few screws a removing a link, or two It does weigh more than you think it would, but after wearing it for a day, you soon get used to it, and you stop noticing it. The only possible down side I have found so far is that the screw heads do not reach that far, it's not effected anything I've needed to do so far tho. It seems to be hard wearing, it picks up the odd scratch but weirdly it makes it looks better, and you only notice the scratches if you look really carefully. I would definately recommend the Tread, looks great, is more useful than I anticipated. All in all I would say go and spend your money.”
