“Am Anfang vorsichtig, vielleicht sogar skeptisch, ob das ganze hält. Ja das tut es. Man muss die Saugnäpfe einmal feste aufdrücken und dann, nach kurzem Pumpen, ziehen sie sich fest und man kann einfach weiter pumpen. Clever ist der Indikator. Er zeigt an, ob das Vakuum wieder entweicht. Man weiß auch wenn man nicht mehr pumpen kann, der "Pinüppel" verschwindet immer mehr im Saugnapf. Durch die Art des Trägers ist man sehr flexibel beim Montageort auf dem Auto. Die erste Autobahnfahrt (rund 330km) sind auch ohne Probleme verlaufen. Einziges Manko ist die Diebstahlsicherheit. Mit wenigen, einfachen Handgriffen, ist der Träger runter vom Dach und somit auch das Rad. Generell ist auch das ab- bzw. anschließen des Rades an den Träger nicht möglich. Trotzdem eine sehr gute, flexible Lösung für den Fahrradtransport.”

“First of all when I see this product my first reaction was “that’s it!” I was looking a product that easily be removable from the car and this is brilliant! Amazing product but needs small improvements. 1- I use 15x110 axle adaptors for my mountain bikes but they don’t mount strong enough and whenever I try to place my bike they fall out while I was top of the car with bike. O-ring is not strong enough to hold them secure. I remove them after ride cause don’t want to lose them.Is there anything to improve adaptors? Threads on adaptors could be best solution but guess you couldn’t do in that way because of different adaptor length. 2- Screws that hold the suction caps to mount (front) loosened when I return back to home and it was really dangerous. I don’t know if I did something wrong while assemble but if there is no suggestion from your side I’m thinking to use a bolt/screw securing product (loctite) on screws. Vibrations can cause them loosening during the ride on way. Please see below picture for o-ring and loosened screw.”

Hi Alim, We really appreciate you taking the time to leave a review with your feedback and we're really pleased you are happy with your Duo. I am sorry to hear you are having difficulty with your axle adaptors. It looks like there may be an issue with the 'o' ring on your adaptors, we would be more than happy to replace these for you to make sure your rack is working as intended. a helpful tip for mounting your bike is to attach it to the rack before lifting onto the car. This way you can attach your bike easily on the ground without the difficulty of holding the bike in the air. I appreciate with Duo this is not possible for both bikes but certainly helps for the first bike. In regards to the screws, if tightened using the supplied hex key, these should not be coming loose. A potential explanation could be as a result of spinning the vacuum cup after set up. If the vacuum cup was fastened in place and then spun around to move the plunger position this may have unscrewed the fastener. To avoid this, ensure you have fastened the screw with the vacuum cup in the desired position and do not spin the vacuum cup after this. If you do, just double check it is fastened correctly aftwards. You are free to use Loctite should you feel necessary, we just warn that in doing so will disable its modular functionality. “Good service, fast delivery, rack and constituent parts easy to put together, seems well made and did a good job on initial trips however, the fork adapters are not perfect. The rack is primarily sold for mounting of bikes on the roof of a car however especially with a heavier bike this can be difficult as the fork adapters are only a very loose push fit and can be easily dislodged when mounting a bike to the rack at height. The fit between the adapters and my fork is sub-millimeter perfect so there is no room for any inadvertent twisting so especially if mounting a heavier bike it can be a little trying solo. With a second person it is much easier - one to hold the weight of the bike in approximately the right location and another to help guide the fine fitment of the forks without dislodging the adapters. Adapters would be massively improved if there was a proper capture method in the mount. Screw fit probably has other issues, maybe a twist pin or spring pin. I am already thinking about modifying the adapters myself to help with solo loading as repeatedly knocking them out of the mount and worry I will end up losing them and having a problem on top of the general difficulty in use.”

“This is genuinely a 5* product. It is extremely well made and quite simply - it works. It is particularly helpful to have the bag of inserts so that the system as delivered will fit all quick release and thru-axles (unlike some other companies where you have to source/purchase these separately. My personal use is not for a vehicle roof but on a smooth van floor where I can easily adjust location for mountain bikes, road bikes and my triathlon (TT) race bike - all of which have different wheelbases and varying axles. The Mount Evo is the perfect solution. There will certainly be a glowing review of this product on my YouTube channel, www.youtube.com/@RealLifeReviews , in the near future.”
