“I grew up in Porlock in the 1960s and early ‘70s. One of my friends - Ian Cape - lived near the Miles Tea store rooms where we occasionally sneaked in to play amongst the sacks and cases. Somehow the plummy fragrance of Miles tea in those early years, before I was even old enough to want to want to drink it, has entered my soul and become the very definition of how tea should taste.
