The Hair Lab by Mark Hill Anti Humidity Spray 300ml Reviews

4.5 Rating 1,320 Reviews
I have been using this taming product by Mark Hill and it’s one of the best hair products for frizzy hair I’ve used! It instantly smoothens my hair whilst still looking healthy, shiny and soft. It does not make your hair look greasy at all, smells great and it’s long lasting, keeping my hair smooth and in place for hours. I now use it every morning!

When I blow dry and straighten my hair, I often find that my normally thick bouncy hair goes sadly flat at the roots. This product is a little helping hand in adding that oomph back in. It comes in a spray bottle, not the pressurised can style, the other kind (see photo). It is easy to part the hair and spray in at the roots, and the smell of the spray is delightful. Then you need to blow dry your hair upwards, basically to help blow dry your roots in the direction you want and make your hair bouncy. I found it really did work quite well (obviously not a miracle worker and I'm no hairdresser) and even when straightened my hair was nice and boingy. It didn't last a huge amount of time (half a day), but for a little unassuming looking spray I am fairly impressed.

My hair is wavy to curly, thick and very long, and I suffer from extreme bouts of frizz. I think this product just wasn't heavy duty enough for me. I love that you get a huge bottle so you can safely use it every day, and I love that it gives my hair a little bit of healthy shine. However, I found that it didn't extend the anti frizz effect of my hair after straightening any longer than not using it. If you suffer mild frizz and fly aways I think this will be very useful, but if you're like me perhaps try something with a bit more clout.

This stuff is brilliant for my frizzy, fly away hair. It comes in a little tub and doesn't look like there's much but you only need a tiny bit to do a lot, so it could well last months and months. Rub a little between your fingers (the texture reminds me of a very soft wax) and then run it through the hair that needs taming (with me it's mostly the 'top layer' of my hair, and of course my lengths). It doesn't show so there's no slicked back gel look or awful stickiness, it very much just does it's job and doesn't make much mess. I think this is because it's essentially colourless and so can be used on any colour hair. I'm not keen on the scent, it's kind of sweet but I think in general most people would like it, and you can't smell it once it's on your hair. This is a thumbs up from me. I have long, wavy to curly, frizzy and very thick hair, and it's a true help.

Loved this product and the packaging was brilliant! The smooth paste smelt lush and also felt really light on my fingers before using. There was no stickiness to it and my hair didn't feel heavy, greasy or sticky after use. It kept the small fly away hair strands (when I had my hair in a pony tail) in check and still looked good at the end of the day. The product brushed and washed out of my hair easily too.

This product is good and it does live up to its claims, however I found it very heavy in my hair and it make it feel like it was clogged up with products very quickly. I love the idea of a 12-in-1 spray, that tackles all the issues at once and can be used throughout the day however this was not suitable for my hair.

As with other products in this range, it smells great. My hair is usually a bit flat, so following the instructions this product really did make a difference and I would definitely consider purchasing again.
