I did have some difficulty as my hair is long and the barrel didn't seem to have enough room to curl the length of hair I wanted but then I used it in my 9 year olds hair and it was absolutely perfect. I think this was because of the thickness and length differences. I've used it a few time on her and everyone comments on the outcome. Also, I've found it hard to get a curl to stay in her hair with previous attempts but not with this barrel.”
