I would give 5 stars if the fan was totally silent but it gets 5 stars for efficiency instead. The fan can be heard but it is definitely not excessively loud - you can hear it and as you get used to it, it just blends into the background and becomes part of the normal day to day sounds.

Added 2 our main lounge radiator. Very easy to set up. Works great. Not as much of a air flow as I’d hoped but does work. I can feel a stream of hot air being vented up into the room.

I have the triple fan installed in our living room. It has been the coldest room in the house due to leaky single-pane windows and an undersized radiator. I installed the set-up in less than 15 minutes and it works great. We now have a better heat balance through-out our cottage. The sound from the fans is very low - never noticeable by guests. No need to turn up the telly. The thermostat works well - I check it frequently. The system creates a gentle warm breeze coming up from the radiator.

This fan fits magnetically onto the base of my type 22 radiator. There is a perceptible movement of air through the fins and I would say it does make a difference however you would need to spend time with a thermometer making notes with a before and after to really check the amount of difference. Worth buying but the price does seem a bit steep for what you get but a fair buy nevertheless.

Arrived quickly, fitted easily, works well and is so much quieter and better than my "small" RadFan booster. It's also as good as my unbranded radial fan booster, but again so much quieter. Possibly the best bit is how discrete this is, tuck the sensor around the back of the radiator, tidy up the cable going back to the socket and you wouldn't know it was there. Only day one of ownership, but very pleased with quality and performance so far. And it's made in Europe, not China! Please note that I am comparing this to similar products and it does help distribute heat around the room, just don't expect miracles. In Winter my front room usually struggles to register anything more that 19.5°C on the thermostat I have there, so far tonight the same thermostat is showing 20.9 and the heating's just switched itself off. It's 8°C and falling outside, no change there though... 7 people found this helpful
