“I have oily skin that has turned combination due to modest age. This is one of few “moisturizers” that do just that without making shiny face syndrome. BUT it's very important that you do NOT skip the generous application of ISO toner followed by sparing pat of this (one pump should be enough). Together is better in this scenario.”
“If you've got oily or sweaty skin or like the soft matte look, then I think this is the moisturizer for you. It's very light, but still does a good job of moisturizing the skin. If you like the lightness of a gel, but feel like gels don't cut it or feel sticky, then this will probably be a good choice. It's quickly absorbed, doesn't burn or sting, and leaves the skin not looking greasy. I don't want to say it's a powdery after feel, but it's almost like the feel of having moisturized and then put a sheer mineral veil over the skin. Skin looks plump and hydrated and feels smooth to the touch, but not shiny or oily feeling.
This is great as a day moisturizer for the acne prone, teens, and anyone oily. But if not acne prone and are on the dryer side of having combo skin, then I'd prob go for the essence because it's a lot more moisturizing. The essence one does make me break out though, which is why I use the bio cell unless I'm on vacation somewhere hot and humid and then I'll use the sheer hydration.”
