“Jeff Wayne's musical version of War of the Worlds has been a musical icon since its release.
With several incarnations of it having been performed on stage, this version is the next level.
An interactive, immersive piece of musical and theatre which entertains and absorbs.
Taking a trip through the memories of George Herbert (The Journalist) you meet the characters, get swept along in the story with lavish sets, live actors and the all important soundtrack.
The cast are superb, playing thier parts with enthusiasm and drawing our children into the story and experience. They were also amazing when a particular scary part came, keeping an eye on our scared 10 year old by reassuring and moving him from that part of the experience.
It's a great experience for all and although tickets may seem expensive, but it's a lot for your money. This isn't just theatre you watch. This is theatre you live!”
“Absolutely brilliant , seen it twice now , this new version and the old version , didn't fail in any way , my pal was in awe , even put a review on TripAdvisor, well done to you and the staff esp the actors they were superb , Tshirt prices could do with looking at though , there not that expensive at most concert venues , but i still brought one {mug} haven't downloaded photos yet , but will be asap , thanks again for an amazing experience.”
“Having been to the experience 7 times pre-covid I was enthusiastic about the re-opening. The alterations that have been made to ensure they remain covid safe and socially distant have ultimately improved the interactivity between cast and public. The new scenes also include added audio and narratives from George Herbert. The VR side also seems to have been enhanced even more which brings another level to what was already out of this world. The update menu in the Spirit of Man bar is as tasty as always. The Cast and Front of House staff are well organised and as friendly as can be given the current circumstances.”
