“Brilliant. From the enthusiasm of the cast to the special effects we loved it. The music brought back all those great memories and now we could ‘live’ the moments.
We engaged with the cast .. there were some that didn’t …and I think they missed out on the whole point …it’s not a play …be part of it.
The AI glasses were wonderful …even down to my wife becoming a little child!
Not to be missed.”
“Fabulous day out. Good value stunnung entertainment. There were only a couple of times where nothing much seemed to happen and felt a bit like filler, the rest was a very exciting interactive 2 hours with lots of variety.”
“I was not going to offer a review but as you have contacted me:-
Although the experience was ok we felt that compared to other Virtual Reality forms of entertainment we have enjoyed this was extremely lacking notably in:-
1. Continuity
Too much ‘padding’ with actors attempting to extend time spent between ‘stages’. Given the demographic of others that attended on the same day, the interaction with cast members would have been more suited to a MUCH younger audience. “Have you seen George?”
“What’s happening up there”?
What’s next? “He’s behind you!” ???
2. CGI
We felt we were part of an animation rather than reality. Have better imagery on my own domestic VR system (and it’s not expensive)
3. Headsets NOT suitable for spectacle wearers.
We understand due to the COVID situation that hygiene is extremely important but having to wear an eye mask in addition to the face mask made it EXTREMELY difficult to wear the headset. In fact I broke my spectacles on removal. I was also disappointed with management response, although we appreciate we had signed a waiver on arrival.
I recommend offering the advice to spectacle wearers that ‘if possible contact lenses should be worn’.
Or have facility to self focus.
It is an experience I would NOT recommend”
“I always thought the chances of anything coming from Mars were 1 million to One..
.. but now I know otherwise.
Excellent experience.
Actors really great.”
