“I was given my first copy of Jeff Waynes The War of the Worlds in 1980 for my 11th birthday in vinyl. So it was absolutely marvellous when my son bought me tickets for my 54th birthday, it was a great surprise, and the immersive experience did not disappoint. I still listen to the album even now so I know the story inside and out, so I thought I knew what to expect. I was wrong, it was a whole new experience and the time went far too quickly, bravo for a brilliant day! Also a big shout out for the actors, they really made the show work so well, they were all excellent.”
