“The experience itself was fantastic, very immersive, great attention to detail and loved the authentic pub stop in the middle - wish the other pub before you went in also had the same ambiance, tankards and music, we would like to have stayed there longer! The experience could have used a bit more organisation within it to make it run more smoothly (there was lots of fumbling over spaces to sit down, capes and headsets because nobody was in charge of organising this and people were just grabbing what they could) but it was fab overall and I would recommend to others.
I've only given 4 stars as there was a mixup over time slots caused by staff when we arrived which meant we nearly missed our slot (despite arriving 2 hours early!) and meaning we missed the briefing of how to use the VR headsets which was a bit of a pain. If we hadn't double-checked ourselves with the bar staff, we would have missed the experience totally. That said, the staff corrected the mishap super quickly and were very friendly, polite and kind so that made up for it and we still enjoyed the day.”
“The Gunpowder Plot was absolutely amazing! The actors were phenomenal and the sets we ran, crawled and hid in were authentic. The VR technology transported us back to 1606 effortlessly. I’d highly recommend this experience to anyone. Don’t forget to have a cocktail in the bar before or after. Our Dark and Smoky cocktails were delicious!”
