“Had been dithering between these and the Calders for ages. Ended up buying both in the timely sale. I usually take a size uk 6 but have wide feet so sized up. Still a bit snug width wise (and smaller than the calders) but have worn a couple times and they were fine. Beautiful shoes and I love them. My daughter now wants a pair so waiting hopefully for a restock.”
“I sized up from a 6 as recommended and the shoes fit well with thicker socks. They are warm and grippy due to the chunky sole and the leather is softening up nicely. The style of the shoe goes with trousers and skirts. I’m very happy so far.”

It look me a while to get the right size - I originally ordered a UK6, which is my size in every other shoe, but they were very tight. I then ordered a UK7 and they are still snug but completely comfortable (for reference my feet measure 24.7 and 25.0 cm). Incidentally, I also tried the Calder shoe in a UK6.5 and they were far too big - bigger than the Wilpshire in a UK7. It would be really useful if the sizing advice included measurements in cm.”
