“Top quality materials although I had a small teething issue with one of the boot creases pressing hard down onto my big left toe. It hurt enough to leave a burn mark after repetitive action of walking and I've had to bend it and try to change the crease to reduce its pressure. I know leather does stretch over use so I'm willing to work it in.
Their recommendation of going half a size lower is perfect though and the aesthetics are lovely. The grungey look is beautiful although the microfibre structure of the leather does mean it can mark easily just by scuffing it on anything. So if you poke the toe with some steps, you'll leave a nice light mark but you can always buff it out later with a bit of effort.
However, the small issues I have with it, the material and build quality is fantastic with gore-tex, hard-waring soles and bass inlet lacing. I know these will last me a very long time! Overall I'm very happy with them and I'd be confident buying another product from them.”
