“Love my Settle boots. Quality is amazing - and that smell of real leather as you open the box when it arrives is almost worth the cost itself! Mine took around a month to break in if I'm honest and I don't mind admitting I was a bit worried that I had made an expensive mistake. It is the only down side - you are told they may need to be broken in but, of course, once you start that process you cannot send them back, so you just have to hope they come good - which mine did. I can now wear them all day long. My only gripe - the laces they came with which were frankly sub-standard. They just came undone of their own accord unless you double knotted them. Solved that by getting a pair of the waxed laces from Lanx which are brilliant, but for a £200+ pair of boots I would have expected those waxed laces as standard really.”
