“The Lanx boots arrived promptly in January, and they are a lovely pair of boots, I must say. I am still wearing them in, a slow process because I am trying to avoid the wet and the mud, but so far they have been great, and I am very happy with them. Curiously I had to drive up to Whalley to collect an item from the auction rooms next door, so popped into the Lanx shop, where I would have bought another pair of boots in the sale, but sadly some fool had burgled the shop and stolen the other boot of the pair.”
