“My favourite boots ever! Comfortable from the start. Am usually a size 9 women’s or size 8 men’s and I followed the company’s advice and went for men’s size 8 (Ribchester distressed Conker). Have hardly taken them off. They’ve done serious wet and muddy conditions (often submerged above the sole in water) and my feet have remained 100% dry. Am both impressed and thrilled with my purchase.”
“This is my second pair of boots from Lanx. The first pair (Barton) took a bit of wearing in. These Ribchester (size 13) fit me straight out of the box and the wide fitting is very comfortable. I've been looking for a boot that I can wear everyday, walking the dog (in long wet grass), beaches, gardening, cutting logs, washing the car, going to the pub and I've now found them. Comfy from out of the box, stylish and waterproof.
I took them up on their moto of get them worn, and I've certainly tried many activities in these boots, still warm, dry feet every time. I love them!
I'm usually a size 10 but I upsized to a 10.5 to wear nice thick socks. I had to wait a while for them to come into stock, but jumping at the email to say they were back in stock I couldn't be any more happier! (well, thats not true, I forgot to add the free Lanx socks because I was so excited and clicked the buy button before adding the free socks so, Lanx if you'd like to send me some that would be great!!)

“I purchased a pair of Ribchester boots 9.5 in the conker distressed colour about a month ago, so this review is based on quite a few outings. Firstly huge thanks to the Lanx team - I tried the Pendle boots on at the Game Fair to find my normal 10 is a solid 9.5 in these boots (and also in the Garstang.....next purchase?).The 9.5 Ribchesters felt, as predicted,exactly the same as the Pendles. Super comfortable all round, plenty of room in the toe box - I like some wriggle room down there! The shaping around the heel and top of foot is perfect to give a solid heel hold but without feeling all all tight. Some have commented on a bit of wearing in needed, but I did not find that, which I think is due to the quality of the leather. I have had long days in these boots and in wet grass, and so far so good. These are undoubtedly expensive boots for every day use - but if you are going to use them every day - why not treat your feet!!”
