He purchased me the Pendle boots, to give them a go, in short, these are fantastic boots - Lightweight, tough enough and great quality.
I rely heavily on decent footwear as a Royal Mail postal worker. Averaging around 15 miles a day walking in all weathers, these have been a dream to wear with minimal break in and comfort pretty much straight out of the box.
The vibram sole has dealt with rain, a little snow and ice with ease. No wet feet for me either, not overly stuffy or warm to wear, just right!
Previous attempts at finding the right footwear left me with all sorts of issues, aching plantar discomfort, tightness across foot tendons etc. But, honestly the Pendle boots have really helped at giving my feet a solid base to heal and continue working.
I find myself wearing these even on my days off as they are really comfortable!
Have now ordered the Twiston boot as a second pair to rotate.

“These boots look fantastic (suited for both on the hills and in the pub!) and fit really well. They were incredibly comfortable straight out of the box and for me they required minimal breaking in. After only one short hill walk on Day One of wearing they were then used on a five mile hill walk along rocks, fields, muddy paths etc with no painful rubbing. Really impressed. The vibram sole provides very good grip. Used them so much during my Christmas break that I now need to look at giving them a solid clean. Well worth the money!”
“Not A big boot wearer generally but winter always makes you think about how bad things might get and the need of something that can cope with anything the British weather can throw at you .
These seemed good value anyway but at the sale price were too good an offer to resist.
Straight out of the box the quality of the leather and overall finish is obvious.
Put them on and they feel incredibly comfortable straight away . There are no seems anywhere that could rub or cause trouble. I think these might get a lot of wear over the coming months and have made me look at what other colours are available ! Great boots and great value , worth anyones hard earned money .”
