“I'd never heard about the company before,so this is my first pair of Lanx shoes, which I got on sale with 10 per cent further off my first purchase. They arrived today very promptly in a well constructed branded box and the shoes were encased in a lovely dark fabric cloth. On first inspection, I looked over each shoe carefully and they looked very well made with nice leather and robust straight stitching. They look like they're going to last. The sizing is fine for me too, which is always a bit of a worry when you buy online from a new retailer you've not used before. They are quite snug but not too tight or loose - but I think they will stretch over a few weeks, and I will need to break them in too before walking any distance outside in them because the leather is quite stiff right now. I had to do the same with my Sebago deck shoes, so no surprises there. It is too early to say how comfortable they will be so far So can't comment on that yet. So far, Lanx has made a very good impression on me with their quick delivery and classy shoe, and it's nice to support a small British company instead of my usual one for deck shoes. I will update my review when I have worn the shoes over a few days.”
“Received my LYTHAM / MAHOGANY yesterday. The whole experience has exceeded my expectations. The shoes are beautifully made, fit well and look even better 'in the flesh'! (I would add that as I have got a bit 'long in the tooth', my size 5 1/2 feet seem to have 'spread' and therefore made the right choice in ordering a 6.) They were delivered very quickly. I also love the beautiful shoe box and the cloth they are wrapped in. The whole experience has been luxurious. I will be back for more !”
