“Nice boots, dropped a star because of the fitting. I take a size 6.5 in the Cheadle trainers so went for 6.5 first in the Hothersall (even though the size chart on the page said 6.5 was 24.6cm long and my feet are 25.2cm). Far too big. Even size 6 is too big so I've had to use an insole - but first I had to stretch the seam that goes around the middle of the foot under the laces. It was far too tight, I have high arches so that could have been the problem, but I've never found this before as my feet are otherwise on the narrow side of normal. The rest of the boot is very roomy, I would have tried on a different pair had I not been trying them by post, and I do like them a lot so have persevered with the fitting. If you can get to a shop in person then that's by far the best option as just because one style fits well it doesn't mean another will!”
“Great boots. They're very comfy. They have a surprisingly wide toe box, wider than normal, but that's actually really nice for wearing with thick winter socks.”
“From the moment I tried on my Hothersall boots, I was in love! So comfortable, right from the start - no wearing them in required at all. I wear them whenever I can, in fact I haven't really worn any other shoes since buying them! These are definitely forever boots - suitable for indoors and out, comfortable and I know that they will last me a very long time!”
“One of the comfiest pair of boots I've ever purchased. I did swither about buying for months but I've totally made the right choice. So comfy, unbelievably warm and look great too. I am a total convert and the icing on the cake for me is that they are made here, lovingly and with passion and care. Chuffed to bits. Thank you Lanx gang, keep going and please don't let some big multinational buy you over”
