“Beautiful boots, well crafted and will last a lifetime, ordered a size up from 10 to 11 as I have some weird toes and fit is great as I have fairly wide feet.
If there were one brand of shoes I would collect it would be Lanx but my shoes are meant to be used and I don't have space for a shoe museum”
“Shoes are of superb quality, BUT
...the fit was miles off. I always wear 11s - boots, shoes, trainers - yet the Garstang 11s fitted more like a 12! Had to drop to size 10, but even these are a little big around the top - wondering if I could've gone for 9.5 but I'm now out of time for changing.
Nontheless, I can't fault the quality or the look; I'm hoping to get 5-10 years of use out them.”
