“The best boot I have ever owned. Superb boot, great fit (it's great that they come in half sizes), well made and hard wearing.
I wanted some Dr Martens but something more versatile that I could wear every day for days out, going out for dinner and also for work meetings. These fit the bill perfectly. Not so smart that you're worried about a scuff or some dirt, but still smart enough to wear out to dinner.
All boots will rub when new but these were bedded in after 2 days and are now super comfortable. I can wear them all day in the office, walk a few miles to meetings across the city, then wear the same boot out to dinner after a long dog walk.
These feel like they will last forever but that won't stop me busying another pair, I'm already eyeing up the caramel ones.
I picked these up from the store in Clitheroe where the staff were great people who really cared about what they were selling. Always worth calling in if you are nearby. If not, order online since the fits are great and they have a very good returns policy. They have a brilliant loyalty scheme so I'll save £24 off my next pair.

“Don't hesitate, just buy these boots. The quality and build these boots is 6 star. My only regret is not paying enough attention to the note about sizing. Im a size 10 and ordered a 9.5 and they are still loose around the heel. But fit in the toe and across the foot is perfect so I'm not sure how a smaller size would fit. Regardless, with a decent sock they are super, super comfy and incredibly sturdy. These aren't a 'city' Chelsea boot - these would work on the Ranch!!! I absolutely love these boots and will definitely be buying a second pair (different colour) soon.”
“I've had lots of different brands of Chelsea boots over the years (Blundstone, Redbacks, Dr. Martens, Sorel, etc.). When I first got these boots and put them on they weren't immediately comfortable. But they are made with thick soles and uppers and the leather was stiff. So they took some breaking in. For me it was almost 2 weeks of wearing them around the house before they started to feel comfortable. Now, they are amazing. I'd forgot how comfortable good quality boots can get once you make it past that break in phase. So far these boots surpase anything I've worn before now. I'd thoroughly recommend these boots, but be prepared for a period of breaking them in and thinking that they'll just never be comfortable. Stick with it and they are just wonderful.”
