“Initially I found the boots a mite difficult to get on and off (I am a young 84 year old) but with persistence and the use of a bootlace hook (or a horse hoof cleaning tool) on the rear tag on the boot, it was easy peasy until a short while later having used the boots for some time the leather stretched somewhat and by use of my fingers in both tags they went on a treat!
The bots are made of a very high quality leather and buffs up well when they are polished (whenever I purchase new shoes I always rub some ‘mink oil’ into them, then occasionally say after 6 months or so I rub in more mink oil, that way the leather stays supple and does not shrink… my footwear lasts me for at least 40 plus years, having bought a high quality leather footwear!
These boots are comfortable to wear, yet, I always buy a half size bigger for better comfort and the allowance of thicker socks in winter months.”
