Very well made, good looking boots which have a very sturdy soul, they are extremely comfortable with a lovely cushioned footbed, you can tell that they are quality footwear, just need them in another colour now! Roll on the cooler weather.”
“Really good and stylish boots - great alternative to Blundstones that are trendy enough to have become badly made! And good to support a Northern Business - unfortunately it's Lancashire but since it's not coloured in I can pretend the boots have a Yorkshire rose on ;)
I bought these as hikers/dog walking boots that I could also wear to the pub and work - as I walk the dog on my lunchbreak it helps not to lug an extra pair around or have to keep hikers in the office.
Pros:
The grip is AMAZING - as a dyspraxic person the grip is so good on these shoes it has actually improved my confidence in walking down steep slopes etc as I know the grip is so sound.
They look cool and can literally be worn anywhere!
They fit really well - took a bit of breaking in but stick with it! I wear 2x pairs of socks though and now they are a bit loose with just one pair but this is also really standard for this kind of boot.
Cons:
They say water resistant, and I think for a bit of rain you're fine, but unfortunately the seal between the sole and the upper isn't great cos I always get wet feet in certain places (on the toe and the arch). This has been the case since I got the boots. Need a different pair for wet days or for walking through long grass. I'm not sure if this is a fault in mine, or just the make of the boot.
I wouldn't wear them for a proper hike due to them being a bit loose/there's movement in the foot - but that's because they're chelsea boots. Would recommend a lace up pair if you plan on doing much hill walking but these are great for on the flat.”

My boots arrived exceptionally quickly and beautifully packaged. I also ordered some socks (so worth the money) and after a few laps up around the house on the carpet I decided to take these up a mountain in the wet and mud for a proper work out. They were comfy and flexible yet sturdy fresh from the box. They fit true to size and are perfect for my wider fitting foot. I cannot wait for all the adventures I'll have in these boots. I've searched for so long for something super functional but still at least a little bit fashionable and Lanx have nailed it. I'd give em ten stars if I could!”
