“Unfortunately my boots rubbed on my ankles at the back and I got some really painful grazes on my first walk wearing them. Had to wait a couple of weeks for it to heal. Am wary now of wearing them again but would do with some really thick socks that bunch up around that area to protect my legs. Not suitable with sports socks for sure (according to my legs anyway!)”
“Absolutely brilliant shoes, easily the most practical pair I have ever had. I got an 8 as I'm a 7.5 and it suggested to size up, but that wasn't needed at all. I have narrow feet so the 8 was a bit too large but I have put insoles in and now they fit like a glove, especially with thick socks for hiking and in winter. No breaking in needed! Whether we've been walking through moorlands, riverbeds, beaches or hills - these boots have been comfortable throughout. They have been absolutely caked in mud and kept my feet dry, same for wading through water when we got caught by the tide coming in. Have also worn them to work and got lots of compliments on how comfy they look, so they're really versatile!”
