“I've recently moved to the UK and need good winter boots, having spent the last 13 years in warm and sunny Brazil. Been hesitating to pull the trigger on trying this brand as I prefer to try out shoes in store, especially boots. With the price what it is, I wasn't sure I wanted to deal with for the hassle of buying online and having to do a return if they just didn't feel right on my feet. After a disappointing trip to Clarks (even their wide shoes are too tight on my feet) and getting notice of the Black Friday sale at Lanx, I decided to give these boots a go.
Fortunately, I got myself properly sized before buying (I thought I was a UK 7, but apparently I'm a UK 5.5 wide!). I followed the Lanx sizing recommendations and bought a size 6. They arrived rather quickly, and I was immediately impressed with the packaging and quality of the product. Slipped on these boots and was thrilled to find not only did they fit me well, they were perfectly wide enough for my feet and felt so cozy! Love the tabs for helping get the boots on and off - nice quality touch. Have already done one errand run in the them and am loving them!
Wish I had pulled the trigger a bit sooner and managed to get the black version while they were in stock, but I'm super happy with the color of the acacia distressed look and I know these will serve me well for years. A+++ in my books, and will definitely recommend to anyone looking to purchase quality footwear that's worth every penny.”
“Love them, took them on a 13 mile walk with the dog on the day of purchase to put them through their paces. Very comfy. Would recommend wearing with a thick sock, and also to use the Dubbin for water repellency. The leather stretches and relaxes as you wear them in so it's worth considering this when trying them on.”
