“It took a few wearings to get used to these because I like to use deck shoes as slip-ons and I had to adjust the laces so I could slip in and out without having to retie them. But now I find they are my go-to casual shoes for dry days. The cushioned heel means no rubbing of the ankles and now I have worn them in I no longer need to wear socks. I wouldnt wear them on a long walk - I find I need a more cushioned sole. But I will explore the range to see if such cushioned soles are possible.”
