“Fabulous boots! I've never had a pair of boots that received so many compliments. I visited the shop in Manchester to check sizing. I ordered a pair of size 7 online, my usual size, and they are perfect although I tend to wear a thicker wool sock with these. I've been out in torrential rain and the water just beads and runs off. The leather marks easily, a characteristic of the finish, but a light rub over with dubbin or quality polish restores them to their former glory!”
“Beautifully presented and was happy to take advantage of the offer to buy two and send back any that don't fit. For me, a half size below my normal was right.
The boots are stiff/solid to begin with and do need a bit of breaking in with thick socks on. I wore them around the house at first. They do appear well made and should last. Very happy, and I can see me getting another pair before too long.”
