“It’s very, very comfortable. Requires maybe one or two days of breaking in (did end up with a blister the first time around) but from that point onwards you can walk miles in it without any problems and it doesn’t stiffen the hell out of your feet. I have very wide and high feet so rarely do I say that about boots.”
“These are just lovely boots. A bit stiff to start with, and a pain to lace up (leave an extra minute getting your outdoor clothes on!) but comfortable, good looking, top quality boots that look great with anything except possibly evening wear.”
“I bought these boots for my daughter in law for christmas. On arrival I noticed one boot was abit scuffed at the back of the boot, and the other had a small scrape on it too. I sent pics to my DIL asking would she rather I return them but she felt was all a bit of a faff to return and she could probably polish over the defects. However, had they been for me, I definitely would have returned them, particularly being ox blood colour - and shoe polish in this colour is a bit tricky to get hold of.”
“Bought these in my normal size as I already have the bottle green ones in that size, these seem narrower but fit fine and haven’t had the terrible blisters from my first pair! I did prep with thick socks and shorter times wearing though, nice comfy boots!”
“So far these have been worn for a gig, a festival, for work and walking through my neighbourhood. I'm amazed that they've needed no bedding in, there was minimal rubbing. They feel solidly constructed and robust. I went up a size as suggested by some reviewers, but needed to exchange for my usual size.”
“Dinkley Ox Blood - beautiful, quality boots. I've had to size up by 1/2 a size. The fit is very good - well shaped to fit my narrow feet. Soft footbed. I'm really pleased with my boots.”
