“Love my new boots. I’ve had my eye on them for months but waited for the Black Friday sale to buy them. I’m really pleased with both the service and the quality of Lanx overall. It’s great to support a smaller English company- especially as their products are of such a high quality.
I am normally a size 5 and bought both a 5 and a 5.5 so I could compare. When trying them on at home the 5s felt as though my toes were a little squashed at the end as I could feel the hardness of the leather so I opted for the 5.5s. In retrospect I think I would have been ok with the size 5s as my boots have softened slightly and I do feel like I have more than enough room in my 5.5s. Nonetheless they are really comfortable- the tops have softened well after initially feeling a little stiff around my ankle and both the footbed and tongue are padded making the boot really comfortable. I particularly like the dark purple stitching around the sole: much more subtle and classy than other brands. I have probably only worn them around 10 times but have received lots of compliments from people and will definitely be buying some more boots from Lanx!”
“I originally ordered a uk size 4.5 but these were too small. The exchange process ran smoothly and customer service was very responsive when I emailed them with queries.
The uk size 5 is a perfect fit for me (I am typically a size 4). The leather is high quality and the boots are beautifully made. These have been built to last and I have had so many compliments on them already. They were initially quite stiff at the back but are softening up with wear.
I would happily buy more boots from LANX again!”
