“Shoes are well made, but very firm and lack cushioning or padding so thicker socks are definitely needed, especially for the first couple of weeks of use until they soften up a bit. I’ve had Clark’s shoes many times and prefer their comfort, but like the idea that Lanx shoes are hand made. If Lanx could improve the padding and perhaps find a way to soften the boots up a little before hand, they would be spot on.”
“The shoes themselves are okay, the leather is of a good quality, the sole is sturdy. But the sizing. The shoes are at least 3 sizes larger than an equivalent in Europe or Australia. I followed the sizing guide when purchasing but even with an additional inner sole in them I'm swimming.”
