Hi Helen. Many thanks for your product review as we really appreciate all feedback both good and not so good! In regards to the issue you have experienced I am sorry to hear about this. I would be interested to understand this in more detail, as we have not had any other reports of issues with these, so would love to see some images of them. As this is a metal detectable scraper, it does contain metal filings within the plastic polymer. This can affect the structure of the plastic which I wonder if this is causing the issues you have experienced? Sometimes having a metal detectable item in certain applications is more likely to cause the issue you are then trying to detect! It may be worth trying the standard version of this scraper under the 'prevention instead of detection!' banner. Happy to organise this for you.
