Porcelain is an extremely low porosity material, so penetrating sealers behave differently compared to natural stone or porous concrete surfaces. The main benefits on porcelain are helping protect grout lines, reducing maintenance and assisting with stain management and efflorescence mitigation over time.
Our sealers are breathable impregnating sealers, not topical coatings, so they are designed for long term durability and easier maintenance rather than creating a surface film or making materials completely stain proof.
