“The Joola Seneca FDS 14 is the lowest priced paddle in their “Pro” series. It’s a huge improvement over my beginners paddle. This paddle feels right in my S-M sized hand, and it provides more power and control. It also seems easier to apply spin, but that may be just my wishful thinking. My wife owns a Joola Journey. This paddle is an incremental improvement over that one, but at a $30 premium, so depending on your skill level and depth of your wallet, you should also consider that one.Would I like a carbon paddle in the $200 range? Yes. Am I a good enough player to take full advantage of a carbon paddle? No. So for now, this $100 Joola Seneca paddle will serve just fine.”
“This Joola pickleball paddle is great quality and improve my swing. The surface is larger than my beginner paddle. The weight is 8oz and more than my typical 7.8oz paddle. I can definitely feel a real difference in the weight and I can control the ball better with Joola.”
“Nicely balanced and light weight. It is a comfortable paddle to use. Easy to hold. Broad surface area. Surface allows the user to get some spin on the ball.”
“I wanted to upgrade my pickleball paddle to a little bit higher quality one since I just had some cheaper quality ones that weren’t just the best. I was quite tickled when I got this one! It was a lot nicer than I was expecting and has a totally different feel than a $30 paddle! It has a much better feel on the surface of the paddle and it just feels more balanced. It has a bit more weight to it than my other paddles. I think it adds to control and an all around better pickleball experience. Highly recommend this paddle! I think you’ll like it.”
“I've been using generic paddle for a while now and it's been ok but I noticed a huge improvement in control with this Seneca paddle. Great control, great feel overall and I love the design on it. Handle feels great and it's amazing how much of a difference it is over the entry level paddle I was using.Great quality, and perfect for someone just getting started or someone who is intermediate level. For advanced players, they will probably want something a little nicer, but I am not even close to that level yet so I think I'll be using this paddle for a while in the casual pickleball games I play.”
“This is a very good paddle. Love the Joola equipment. Best for an intermediate player or a beginner. Face has a smooth finish. Handle is 5 inches long. If you plan on playing often, get a good paddle like this.”
“The surface of the paddle face is smooth and the color graphics are a nice change from the plain black Joola paddle you usually see. I like that this paddle has a lot of power for serves and groundstrokes. I was able to put top spin, backspin and side spin on the ball. This would be a nice upgrade from your first cheap Amazon paddle at a good price.”
