“The swing has a noticeable difference in speed. I love dinking with this -- it's ability to really control the ball despite it being a 14mm is still great. It's a great upgrade from my previous beginner paddle.”
“The paddle is certainly very light. If weight and wrist issues are important, this can be a good paddle. On play, I noticed many dead spots. It also pops the ball and control on dinks is lesser, maybe because it is a 14mm. I returned and will keep looking. It is certainly not worth the price, and does not even come with a basic cover! Joola should up their game and offer a cover at least at this price point. This is an unbiased review and no one paid me for it.”
“I am a senior and a 3.0. This is a good paddle overall however the sweet spot is very small and there is no room for error. I would recommend using a different paddle and I would not buy this paddle if I knew this before.”
“I received tis as a gift - it is more expensive than many paddles and it is narrower with a tad longer measurement but I play at a 30 level and it works great.”
“I'm a 5.0 player and decided to try this 14mm paddle to see if it had better "feel" than my standard 16mm Hyperion I usually use. This is a mediocre paddle at best hardly worth the price they are charging. Full of deadspots with a fairly small sweetspot. Save your money and get something else, unless you want the name.”
“Coming from a 15mm Head paddle, I was unsure if I should go with the 14mm or 16mm Joola Vision. I know I like a crisp “pop” when I hit forehand drives or slams and other 16mm paddles I’ve tried always felt a little too plush to me. I went with the 14mm Vision and couldn’t be happier. This paddle certainly has the “pop” I was looking for, but at the same time I found it more controllable than my previous 15mm Head paddle. I like the feel of the longer 5.5” handle and the CGS face provides for plenty of spin. If you are looking for a great combination of both power and control, you won’t be disappointed with the Vision 14mm.”
“I’m not a pro pickleball player by any means but I do play a decent bit and this is the best paddle I’ve gotten to use. That being said it’s also the most expensive paddle I’ve ever used, but you certainly get what you pay for. The one I got is the 14mm black paddle with the carbon surface and a white handle. The grip on the handle of this paddle is comfortable and feels like it will stay on well. The handle is also the perfect length so that it fits my whole hand, but no more and no less. It’s made from a white tape which looks nice, but will probably get dirt and stains fast, but it hasn’t so far for me though. My favorite part of this paddle is the textured carbon grip surface. First off it feels cool, but more importantly it makes it easier to put spin on the ball. Smooth surface paddles are harder for spin because the ball will just slide across it without spinning, but this grippy surface will do the job for you if you hit it correctly. You’d think by feeling it that the grip would get worn easily from hits, but after several games mine still looks pretty new. The weight of the paddle is really good too, pretty light but enough weight that you can give the ball a good hit. Finally the sound it makes when you hit the ball is a lot more subdued then cheaper paddles I’ve used. Depending on your preferences you may or may not like this, but I really like the sound it makes. Other paddles have more of a loud pop noise, while this is more of a quieter thud in my opinion.”
