“Very disappointing visit. Jane Austin connection with this house was minimal. Lecture given was well done but the visit was otherwise all pictures and photos, which we could have seen on the internet. Very poor value for money.
The Tea Room told me they had no butter for my sandwich. We were offered vegan spread (?) or chutney. We left without eating. Seemed more of a moneymaking tourist catch than the highly rated visit we had to Jane Austin's Chawton home.
We love Bath but will not bother to visit your exhibition again. Sorry, but we did not enjoy your museum.”
“The Jane Austen Centre is quite nice, but I was expecting a bit more, especially taking into account the ticket price. Still, it was a fun experience, I enjoyed it a lot and learned a few things about Jane and Bath. Don't forget to go to the gift shop, it's small but well worth a visit.”
