It gives you a great insight on Jane Austen´s life and how the city of Bath is present on her books. In addition to this, and before starting the visit, one of the guides gave an excellent introduction on Austen´s life and her literary work.

It started with a introductory talk by a charming guide dressed in the style of the day. The size of the exhibition is deceptively big so worth setting aside 1.5 hrs to do it justice. Opportunity to try costumes on. Good value for money if u r interested in this period of history.”

“I bought the ticket one month ago,on the website there is written that I suppose to receive it in 5 working days..I’m still waiting!I try to call them and to send an email but they never answered! I will go in Bath in 2 weeks and I don’t have the ticket yet!”
“Live locally and finally had the chance to visit. Very disappointing experience. 3 portraits ‘definitely’ not’ Jane Austen. What on earth is the point. Few celebrit6 autographs and a stagnant talk. Needs vast improvement.”
