“Recently went to JA centre with my sister and her 11 year old. There was an informative & interesting talk about the biography of Jane and her family. Take note - one must go upstairs and wait for this assigned talk (happens in 20(?) min intervals) and then be accompanied by the guide downstairs for the room containing Jane paraphernalia. This means you will be there for at least 40 min. You really can’t skip any of this. This is not an inordinate amount of time to be at a historical talk/place but it is programmed,
so something to be aware of going in.
We found that given the cost and the size of the exhibit (it is a small house; the exhibit is only downstairs, essentially in one large-ish room) it was overpriced and oversold. I would hope that there are other more elaborate Jane sites in the UK. We did not have time to explore or visit.
If you’re a serious Jane enthusiast by all means go - otherwise, mmm...maybe spend your hard earned coin another way.”
