“I don't feel fully qualified to write a review on this item as I'm not a dressmaker. However, I did find the sizes given, (and instructions as to measurements), difficult to get to grips with! My normal dress size is 10/12 and had to cut out a 16/18. And even though the waist line should be high, I also found that the back was a bit too high. This complicated the fit. I didn't want to make the spencer jacket but turn it into a pelisse. This should have been simple but I'm still working on it. Please bear in mind that I'm not a dress maker and others may not have similar problems with this pattern. I would also add that this has not deterred me from another pattern in this range.”
