“This pattern is very good and I am very pleased with the finished outfit. I would definitely recommend it but advise reading the instructions carefully once through before making anything.
I found some of the wording confusing; I suspect this is because I’m new to historical costume, and because of some of the terminology used. I also found that the diagrams weren’t 100% clear on right side/wrong side of fabric, and could be unclear due to the hand drawn style.
It just required the occasional pause to process the bits I was personally unclear. Otherwise this is great”
“Ordered this e-pattern for an 11th hour "mom I have to dress up like the author" event at school. No problems with the technical side of things and the dress turned out perfectly but I would not suggest for the novice seamstress. Pattern pieces were difficult to line up when printed out (I think it was almost 40 pages total) so it required some educated adjustments that come with experience. Thrilled with the final result & would purchase again, but not suitable for a novice in this format.”
