“I hope Jamie sees this because I want to say thank you. I haven't tasted anything that good in a long time and I cooked it! So many flavours at the same time that all work. Perfect for my hectic exercise lifestyle and did I mention its delicious!!!”
“Delicious and timings were great for prep. I cooked the chicken a little longer and popped it in the oven while doing the next stage. Great recipe and will definitely use again!”

“Quick and easy to follow recipe. I had bought all the ingredients to make this so had everything at hand. The only thing I did different was when removing the chicken breast I wrapped in foil and popped in the oven on low while preparing the grains, only because I don’t like underdone chicken. I Still need to work on my presentation skills but it looked pretty good despite that! It was really delicious!!”
Hi Marina, thanks so much for the great review! Wrapping the chicken in foil is a great tip to ensure it's cooked just right. We're so glad you enjoyed the end result.

“A great recipe, so quick and easy to do. I made a few alterations as I didn't have all the ingredients so used a Cajun spice mix instead of ras el hanout, and had some bulgar wheat with finely chopped veg in the fridge, left over from the day before so used that instead of a pack of mixed grains. I only had a small lemon so used all the juice. Loved the pop of sweetness from the blueberries. It was so simple, but at the same time healthy and nutritious, will definitely do it again. I like that it's versatile and you can stick with the main recipe but adapt depending on what ingredients you have.”

“Had to do the recipe without the grains, just peas and lentils as couldn’t find them. The lemon peel, garlic & blueberries really does work well. And peas and mint are best friends. Cooked it for me & my parents and my Mum who is normally quite hard to please, went into raptures over it. We all liked it a lot. One to cook again many times. I used fresh blueberries but am sure it’d work with frozen if necessary. Yum!”

“Loved the chicken breast method - cooked to perfection. Didn’t have blueberries but added some fresh chopped apricots that went well with the spices and added spinach to the grains instead of peas. I cook for one and it’s an easy quick recipe”

“This was very tasty. Who knew chicken lemon and blueberries are a match made in heaven. I used quinoa instead of the grain packet and it was lovely. The feta just finished it off nicely.”
Hi Karan, we're so glad you enjoyed the chicken and blueberry combo! Customising the dish with quinoa is a great idea. Thanks so much for sharing!
