“Loved this but we swapped out fennel for celery the 2nd time and mich preferred it. Also par-boiled the carrots the 2nd time and definitely made the carrots more enjoyable. We served with wholemeal spaghetti. Very easy meal and yummy!”
“This was easy to make, my husband loved it , but too tomatoey for me, maybe served with pasta and a little less of the dish. Great bulking out the mince with beans, didn’t even notice.”
“I tried this having watched the episode the other day. I bought jar good quality cannelloni beans and pulsed but they all got rather mushed up together with the meat so the texture was weird. So I would advise be careful, don't over process. Maybe it would better to pulse the beans a bit and then combine with the meat in a bowl by hand as normal as you have more control over it. I'm going to try that next time. The sauce was easy to do and rich.”
