Swapped the chard for fennel und used fresh cooked spinach. Delicious! Picky grandson loved the meat ones. Many thanks. Just one thing: I believe the dietary information is for one dumpling and not one serving. When I calculated the figures for one serving (3 dumplings, I got 626 calories, 77g Carbs, 15.7 g fat and 39.4 g protein)

Just made this at home for my wife, my son and his veggie gf. I'm deffo messier than Jamie on the telly; my kitchen looked like a bomb had hit it afterwards :D. Dumplings were delicious, the portions were huge for four people (including a teenage boy). Try to trim the top as much as possible, otherwise the pastry is a bit thick on top. The same technique could be used for lots of fillings.

Delicious! The Georgian dumplings are called Khinkali and can be very successfully reheated. Reheating is often by deep or shallow frying in vegetable oil.
