“I make this all the time. I do add a little bit of chicken stock. Garlic powder and some black pepper or it is a little to bland for our taste. But its a perfect go to through the week for a quick meal.”
“You're always so 'go to'. I remember seeing you on telly in 2004 copying down the recipe and making a knockout meal (I was in Clovelly Beach, N.S.W, Australia at the time). Turkish pide heated in a hot oven (in tinfoil) for 10 minutes. Steak cooked for two minutes on each side. And grated carrot rosemary olive oil after the steak had rested. There was probably another ingredient which I'm damned if I can remember. Anyhow, I know you know food and I bless you (and your lovely family) by 'even. I'll never forget your cooking prowess!!!”
“Was ok, Pastry didn’t rise as expected which was probably oven related. I found the recipe a little bland in flavour even after seasoning, Shame really.”
“I made a few tweaks but this recipe was delicious and really easy.. The tweaks I made.. I accidentally thawed too much puff pastry so I made it with a top and a bottom and I used Colemans powdered Mustard and just a little as I'm not a huge Mustard fan. I love Jamie's recipes they are easy to message and easy to tweak to your own tastes.”
“This recipe was SO DELICIOUS!! I saw it on the tv this afternoon, scribbled the recipe on a piece of paper, popped to the local shops to buy the couple of ingredients that I didn’t have, and made it for dinner - it ended up looking just like Jamie’s and tasted SO GOOD!! This will definitely become a regular meal in our family, so THANK YOU!”
