Not the first time...a big hit every time. I have been trying your recepices for a few years. I am from Canada (Quebec) sometime I have to change certains ingrédients but we usually like the result.

Surely you want to add the Potatoes to hot oil from the oven and not put them in cold oil. That's a basic of roast potatoes cooking.

Thanks for your review John. The steam dried parboiled potatoes are hot and when tossed with the cold oil (or butter/goose fat), they absorb some of the fat and then roast perfectly. We hope you love these if you give the recipe a go! Big love, The Jamie Oliver Team

Love your recipes! I've been cooking these potatoes (and slight variations on the recipe, especially with rosemary and clementines' zest) for over 5 years. Too bad you removed the saving options after you updated the website. I had lots of recipes saved back then.
