“Needs a lot more seasoning than the recipe mentions and even mashing the beans I found that it didn’t stick together. I used egg to bind and then made sure the patties were really chilled before I cooked them. Would make again but will play around with seasonings.”
“There is nothing to bind these burgers. They just turn into a black bean and breadcrumb crumble. Ive made a lot of bean burgers before, but thought I'd try a new recipe. Not worth it.”
Hi Ad, we're really sorry to hear they weren't a success for you. The breadcrumbs should help bind the mixture, but you could also try mashing the beans a little to bring the patties together.
