Gluten-free bread Reviews

Turned out really great. Gluten free bread is always tricky! Only downside was that because it spread whist proving, I wonder if I could put this in a tin so it rises up during the bake? It turned out very delicious, but only maybe 3 inches thick.

Gluten-free bread is not the best, in 15 months I've only attempted it once it was awful when toasted it was like fried bread (not this recipe). Found this recipe and decided to give it a go I only had white bread flour so used that + white caster sugar, followed the instructions but unfortunately it came out heavy as a brick on the plus side it is cooked and its absolutely delicious it's nearly half gone already, will definitely be making again...Thank You

As a coeliac, I think fresh home baked bread, is the most difficult food item that I must go without. Shop bought, mass produced bread is unpleasant, cardboardy (?) and often has an ingredient list I cannot pronounce. This loaf is easy, tasty and all my family love it. I highly recommend. Thank you Jamie, for catering for such a tricky auto immune disease. Banging loaf, best eaten warm from the oven with lashings of butter .. yum!

Hi Sally, we’re so happy to hear that our gluten-free bread hit the mark for you and your family! There's nothing like fresh, homemade bread, and even better when it’s catered to specific dietary needs. Thanks so much for the great review – it means the world to us! Big love, The Jamie Oliver Team
