I love this recipe. Shop bought pizza is expensive and like eating cardboard and deliveries are often too greasy. This is an easy recipe to follow and your own topping choices are endless. I roast some tomatoes and squish into a quick sauce for the base. The full recipe will make a good number of pizzas, but you can halve it and also freeze it really successfully

So easy. I've been converted to a pizza maker! This recipe works just fine with Strong White flour but I'm going to try with Semolina next. It's now one of mine and the kids lunch box options. I keep forgetting to mix the yeast with water and just mix it into the flour before but it still works fine. I'm freezing the dough for later once I've used what I want and I'm only making half the amount as that makes 4 decent size pizzas. Next thing for me is buying a pizza crisper tray and a paddle. Thank sJamie :)

Love this recipe but just released that my yeast tells me that u should add directly with flour! Does this make a difference? Such a great as always recipe and so easy just wondering if I should have used different yeast !!!

Can unused dough be frozen?

Hi Lee! Yes – you can freeze the dough until required for up to 3 months (see step 5). Just make sure you wrap it really well! Enjoy. Big love, The Jamie Oliver Team

I haven't try it yet but when can I roll out the dough after put it out from the fridge?

Hi Miku, thanks for your query. The dough should be fine to roll as soon as you've taken it out of the fridge – it should come up to room temperature fairly quickly anyway. Good luck! Big love, The Jamie Oliver Team

Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I could make pizza dough. But our beloved jamie oliver gave me the confidence that I could do this! Take out pizza is getting so expensive so I purchased 00 flour and did it! Amazing to make yourself, less expensive and delicious! Jamie is right....I will NEVER go back!
