“The coffee arrived a couple of days after being roasted which is great but I chose to rest them for a week before opening the bag. After some trial an errors I mangaged to dial the coffee in to make a decent espresso, lots of flavour and balance.
It would be really good to know the roast level as it makes selecting coffee much simpler (IMO) and one thing I would love as only a few roasters do this, is submit a recipe for the each coffee. It's going to take more time to do but to me shows a level of commitment from the roaster that they did dial in this roast for an espresso, they know what works and it helps the consumer have guage as to where to be when dialing in a coffee, opposed to the classic 20-30 seconds and 1:2 ratio. Some coffees turn out better (especillay lighter roasts) from longer shots for example.”
