“Great colour and coverage. It's quite thick, so if you want to airspray it you will need a thinner. The HUMBROL enamel thinner did not work with this product, I am looking for another enamel thinner brand.”
Hello Adrian, thank you so much for the five star review! Just so you are aware, since the GILD Gold is water based it doesn't need a solvent based thinner - just water will do the job. However, you don't need much water for the sprayer; we recommend a dilution of 10% or less, and always do a test before finishing an entire project. “This paint is the nearest thing to liquid gold I have ever come across. I am now on my 5th pot. I used it with a Stencil Up wallpaper stencil and it looks magnificent. I have used on upcycling furniture. If used properly it lasts a very long time. I strongly recommend this product.”

“Fantastic product which give a lovely guilded finish, a lot less faffing about than gold leaf. Ideal for the right project, I used it to guild a mirror frame. I did a base coat of vermillion acrylic to give depth and then one coat of Gild. Very pleased with the finished item.”
